For the Fans of Roy and Dale

John Fullerton
A Branson, MO. native and our favorite Ozarks cowboy, John has done his own Western Roundup one man show in Branson since 2001 showing his vocal and instrumental talents and his great collection of Sons of the Pioneers  memorabilia. In 2010, he became a member of the HighRiders, Roy Rogers, Jr's band, performing at the Mickey Gilley Theater. John shares his vast knowledge of the Sons of the Pioneers in the Pioneer Record Rack segment of The Sagebrush News.

He is also an Ozarks historian an a fan of Bob Barker, famed Price is Right show emcee, who grew up in nearby Springfield, MO.

Just to keep grounded, you may find John working at Branson's Ride the Ducks attraction in the afternoons.

At present, she is on the kitchen staff at a local restaurant, and as much as she likes cooking, she is not planning on making it her lifelong career. She has two weblogs that she updates regularly. Aside from Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, she likes other b-westerns, history, well done historical films, and reading.

About us

Jim Friesz
A retired banker from Iowa, now living in Branson, MO. Jim became re-interested in his childhood hero when he began collecting Roy Rogers memorabilia in the early 90's. That led to several trips to the Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Museum in Victorville, CA. Jim, and his wife Sharon, moved to Branson in 2004, where he was privileged to work part-time in the Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Museum. There, he was able to share his love for Roy and Dale with other fans. This is his first experience writing a newsletter.
Leah was born in 1994 and lives in Ohio. She became a Roy Rogers fan through her grandpa. Everytime she was in his house, they would watch a Roy Rogers movie together.Leah is an aspiring author, and hopes other people enjoy her writing. In her spare time she enjoys baking, participating in plays, volunteering at the library and reading. To all the people out there, she wishes to tell them to take the time to pop a bowl of popcorn and enjoy a western!
